living in a post-apocolyptic world. He’s pining for
fast food restaurant’s, convenience stores, and all
the stuff we’re used too and take for granted. They
have all been replaced with forests, gardens, and
oasises. It also seems to fit Dante’s situation in
the movie too. He’s forced to change.
In the tropics: it’s not so
much the heat as the humidity.
this song is relevant to that movie cause Kevin Smith said that these were songs an unpretentious guy from Jersey might be listening to at that time…partly the lyrics partly the tunes…just like the rest of us…like Frustrated Inc at the films close (after they make their frustration(job) into a business(reopening a store they supposedly detested working at), the lyrics fit the situation and the character liked the tune…no more no less…
this song is simply showing how much more wed care if in stead of the destruction of the rain forests ect, it were the destruction of our homes, and our conveniences.
i was starting to like the talking heads (seeing psycho killer, once in a lifetime and wild, wild life) then i see this. i didn’t know they had hippie twits in them.
i take that back. i guess one has to pay attention and finish what is being judged before judging.
